Travis S. Steffens: I have a BSc and MA in Primatology from the University of Calgary and am currently a PhD graduate student at the University of Toronto. Since 2005, while working for Backroads Active Travel, I have led more than thirty trips around Africa, Central America, and the Canadian Rockies. I have passion for wildlife, conservation and travel, and love to share my adventures with my guests and through writing and photography. With my wife, Keriann McGoogan, I have lived in Belize studying black howler monkeys and in Madagascar studying Coquerel's sifakas.
